What is HDPE Geomembrane?

Geomembrane is a kind of waterproof membrane material with polyethylene as the basic raw material. It is mainly divided into: low-density polyethylene (LDPE) geomembrane, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) geomembrane and EVA geomembrane. They are a kind of polymer chemical flexible materials with small specific gravity, strong elongation, high adaptability to deformation, corrosion resistance, low temperature resistance, and good frost resistance.

HDPE geomembrane, the full name of "high-density polyethylene membrane", has excellent environmental stress crack resistance, low temperature resistance, aging resistance, corrosion resistance, as well as a large operating temperature range (-60°C~+60°C) and a long service life (50 years). It is widely used in domestic waste landfill seepage prevention, solid waste landfill seepage prevention, sewage treatment plant seepage prevention, artificial lake seepage prevention, tailings treatment and other seepage prevention projects. HDPE geomembrane can be divided into smooth geomembrane, textured geomembrane and single textured geomembrane.
