What is PVC waterproofing membrane?

Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) waterproofing membrane is a high-quality, polymer waterproof sheet, which is produced by extrusion by adding plasticizers, anti-ultraviolet agents, anti-aging agents, stabilizers and other processing aids to PVC resin.
Due to the unique product formula, the product life of this product far exceeds the general waterproof material, the whole waterproof system has a long life, the roof is more than 20 years, and the underground is more than 50 years, which is widely used in construction and civil engineering.

Internally reinforced pvc sheet waterproof membrane is a thermoplastic PVC membrane, which is made of polyester fiber fabric or glass fiber as a reinforcing rib, through a special extrusion coating process, so that the double-sided polyvinyl chloride plastic layer and the middle polyester or glass fiber reinforcing rib are combined into a polymer membrane to form a polymer membrane.

The combination of a highly formulated PVC plastic layer and a mesh polyester fabric gives the web excellent dimensional stability and a low coefficient of thermal expansion. The glass fiber inner stiffener is fully kneaded with the membrane, so there will be no interlayer separation and water immersion. Improves the long-term performance of the web when exposed to the elements, while the unique coating on the surface of the web makes the web self-cleaning, preventing airborne dust and contaminants from coloring the web.

Classification of series products

According to the composition of the product, it is divided into:

• H - Homogeneous membrane: PVC waterproofing membrane without inner reinforcement or backing material
• L- Membrane with fiber backing: PVC waterproofing membrane laminated on the lower surface of the membrane with fabrics such as polyester non-woven fabrics

• P - Fabric Inner Reinforcement Membrane: Polyethylene waterproofing membrane reinforced with polyester or glass fiber mesh cloth in the middle of the membrane
