Three-Dimensional Composite Geonet

Composite drainage net is a new type of drainage geotechnical material. It is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) as raw material and processed by a special extrusion molding process, with a three-layer special structure. The middle ribs are rigid and arranged longitudinally to form a drainage channel, and the ribs arranged up and down crosswise form a support to prevent the geotextile from being embedded in the drainage channel, and can maintain high drainage performance even under high loads. Double-sided bonding seepage geotextile composite use, with the comprehensive performance of "reverse filtration-drainage-breathability-protection", is the most ideal drainage material at present.

What is Erosion Control Geomat used for?

Construction Requirements of Erosion Control Geomat

  • Before laying the composite drainage network, the foundation treatment should be carried out.

First of all, the lower layer should be flat and compacted, the flatness is not more than 15mm, and the degree of compaction meets the design requirements. Hard protrusions such as gravel and block stones are strictly prohibited on the surface.
Laying environment: the outdoor temperature is above 5 °C, the wind is below level 4, and there is no rain or snow. In case of special periods, construction must be carried out in harsh environments, and protective measures should be taken.

  • When the composite drainage network is laid, the composite drainage network should be straight and flat, and should not be twisted or folded. Overlapping areas should be secured with U-pegs or joints. The direction of the main strength of the reinforcement should be perpendicular to the direction of the axis of the embankment, and the length of each lap should be equal to the main strength of the reinforcement. The overlap (longitudinal) is not less than 15cm, fixed with U-nails or joints, the spacing is 1.0m, the transverse lap length is 30-90cm, and the lap position is fixed with U-nails or nylon ropes. It is then backfilled.
  • The maximum diameter of the embankment filler within the scope of the composite drainage network should not be greater than 6cm, and the first layer of the composite drainage network should be compacted along the direction of the embankment axis with a light bulldozer or front loader. The compaction thickness should be greater than 60cm. After the composite drainage net material is laid in place, the filler should be filled in time to avoid direct sunlight for too long. The general interval is not more than 48 hours.
