The quality of the virgin HDPE geomembrane produced using domestically produced raw materials can meet the requirements of the new national standard type I, namely GB/T17643-2011 GH-1 ordinary high-density polyethylene geomembrane. The quality of the new HDPE geomembrane produced using imported raw materials can meet the requirements of the new national standard type II, namely GB/T17643-2011 GH-2S environmentally friendly high-density polyethylene geomembrane. The quality of recycled HDPE geomembrane produced from recycled materials cannot meet the national standard of non-standard HDPE geomembrane.
3. Differences in physical properties:

The physical properties of HDPE geomembrane mainly include tensile fracture strength, yield strength, puncture resistance, and right angle tear strength. The physical properties of virgin HDPE geomembrane are significantly higher than those of recycled HDPE geomembrane.
4. Chemical performance differences:
The chemical properties of HDPE geomembrane mainly include cracking resistance, aging resistance, UV resistance, oil salt resistance, acid and alkali resistance, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, low temperature resistance and non-toxic performance. These chemical properties of virgin HDPE geomembrane are much higher than those of recycled HDPE geomembrane.
5. Appearance differences:

The appearance of the virgin HDPE geomembrane is smooth, shiny, and has good flexibility, while the appearance of the recycled HDPE geomembrane is dull, has rough spots, and has poor flexibility.
6. The difference in service life:
The service life of virgin HDPE geomembrane can generally reach more than 50 years underground, while the service life of recycled HDPE geomembrane is much lower than 50 years.
7. Price difference:
The price of virgin HDPE geomembrane is generally higher than that of recycled HDPE geomembrane of the same thickness.
