Geotextiles usually exist in the form of rolls. During the storage process, it is necessary to cover the outer surface of the geotextile with an opaque packaging material to prevent it from aging and decomposing under the irradiation of solar ultraviolet radiation. Geotextiles should be stacked on a flat surface, away from accumulated water. When stacking, for convenience, geotextiles should be classified and labeled. And the stacking height should be controlled within an appropriate range to avoid accidental collapse.
During the transportation of geotextiles, sharp objects should be avoided from scratching and damaging the geotextile. Worn geotextiles should not be used for actual construction operations.
